Our Story
It all started in 1979, when Jerry Wolf took matters into his own hands and founded what is now the oldest Air Purification company in Houston. At the time, there was no real solution for poor indoor air quality, and Jerry’s family suffered from severe allergies. That is when he designed and patented his very own Enviromax AC filter. Our customers were in awe, and requested we expand into the AC business, and we listened! Seeing as Jerry was a Jack of all trades, the only thing that made sense was for him to take his expertise and expand his services to Heating and Cooling. And the rest is history…
So when we say we are the Wise Guys, we are not kidding!
Why We Went Blue
Years later after the birth of Enviromax, Jim Wolf took over and rebranded us into who we are today, Wise Guys. But tragedy struck when his wife, Shelley, was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease. Suddenly, it made sense why her hand would twitch if Jim held it, and why she would stumble and flail often. It was her symptoms manifesting.
No cure currently exists; therefore, Wise Guys have vowed to rally behind organizations whose mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals who are battling Huntington’s Disease. We will work with HelpCure HD to raise awareness and fund research. The organization was founded by former Astro’s pitcher, and current Seattle pitcher, Joe Smith, along with his wife, TNT Sports Reporter, Allie LaForce; whom we will be working closely with. For every new maintenance club membership sold, we will donate $5, and for every new complete system install we will donate $50.
